Facebook and school achievement

High School Students & Parents
University of Illinois at Chicago
Their description: Help UIC Researchers Understand Family Members’ Attachments on Facebook. A group of researchers at UIC would like to understand high school students’ and their parents’ use of Facebook and if this helps with school achievement.  If you are a high school student, we hope you will volunteer and invite one of your parents to participate as well.  Your answers will be confidential in that we will have no way to contact you directly.  We plan to combine scores from hundreds of students to help researchers understand how Facebook is used by students and their parents. If you would like more information, please contact Dr. Theresa (Terri) Thorkildsen, Professor of Education and Psychology, University of Illinois at Chicago by sending e-mail to thork18@gmail.com or by calling 312-996-8138.
