Their description: A group of researchers at UIC would like to understand students’ motivation in school. If you are a student, we hope you will volunteer. Your answers will be confidential in that we will have no way to contact you directly. We plan to combine scores from hundreds of students to help researchers understand school’s role in promoting motivation. This research is approved by the university’s Office for the Protection of Human Subjects under protocol number 2004-0734. If you would like more information, please contact Dr. Theresa (Terri) Thorkildsen, Professor of Education and Psychology, University of Illinois at Chicago.
