The University of Akron

Their description: A research project being conducted by Ronald Levant, a faculty member in the Department of Psychology at The University of Akron, and David Wimer, a faculty member in the Department of Psychology at The Pennsylvania State University. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationships between men’s beliefs about appropriate roles and activities for men, their health behaviors, personality traits (such as emotional stability and self-efficacy), and views of the health practices of other men. There are nine questionnaires with a total of 189 questions, which we anticipate should take about 25-35 minutes to complete
