Their description: You are invited to participate in a research study on how individual beliefs and expectations affect satisfaction in romantic relationships. Specifically, the purpose of the study is to clarify how a sense of entitlement, and conversely humility, affects the relationship between known predictors of relationship satisfaction and satisfaction itself. The results of the study will be used to better understand how to cultivate satisfying romantic relationships. To participate in this study, you must be at least 18 years of age. You also must currently be in a monogamous romantic relationship lasting at least one year to participate in this study. If you are below 18 years of age or not currently involved in a monogamous relationship lasting at least one year, please exit this survey.

After completing the informed consent form, you will be asked to complete a brief demographic survey in this study, followed by several questionnaires that inquire about your beliefs about what you deserve, your satisfaction with your relationship, and details about how you interact with your spouse/partner. It should take approximately 20 to 40 minutes to complete your participation in the study. It is expected approximately 110 individuals will participate in the study.
