Trnava University

Their description: My name is Janka Vindisova and I am a PhD student in the Department of Psychology at Trnava University in Slovakia. Thank you for considering taking part in my research by which you can contribute to understanding of human experience across different cultures. The aim of this study is to explore various aspects of distress and well–being and to compare the experience of people from different cultural background. While a lot of existing cross–cultural studies deal with comparison of prototypic collectivist countries of Eastern Asia and USA, the area of Central and Eastern Europe has not obtained much research attention. That is why we would like to study experience of Slovaks, Czechs and Romanians and to compare them with participants from USA and United Kingdom. If you are from the countries mentioned above, you are welcome to participate in the research. You will be asked to complete online questionnaire, which typically takes about 20 minutes. You may withdraw from the study at any time by closing your web browser.
